Wrapped and ready for a roof.....

After a fun weekend we came home to a beautifully wrapped package......

I can SEE....

like I can really SEE what each room looks like at this point.

The framers were hard at work by 5:30am last week. 

We are so thankful and excited to envision beginning many memories here....

and then.....

there were WALLS!!!

oh my yall....

I have never loved walls so much! hehehe

Now I can really see it all coming together.

The exterior wall framing was put up on 8.25.15

I snapped these pics on my phone that day.

Yesterday, I didn't even take a picture because we were BUSY

making those final critical decisions on layout.

Did I note in previous posts that I DREW our house plan!!!

Yeah, I don't know nurse practitioner by day and architect by night.

With that being said....we have had to adjust a couple details here and there

BUT Love and I were compromising and think we came 

to a perfect plan for every square inch as of last night.

So the guys are there today framing the remaining interior walls!!!

IMPORTANT INVENTORY YESTERDAY!

I SHOULD SEE SOME SORT OF WALLS BY THE TIME I GET OFF WORK TODAY!

LOVE ALSO PICKED UP THE MANTEL FROM RUSTY BAILEY.

IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT AGAINST OUR ROCK FIREPLACE!

A special Saturday...

We started our Saturday morning 8.23.15 out at the Forever Farmhouse site!

We chalked lined the nooks and crannies of each little room.

So excited to see it really shaping up.

It takes my breath away that we are really building a house

and this baby asking me to "hold"

and saying "uuuney" and "yesss" when

I ask her if she wants Honey to rock the baby....

yeah, that really takes me breath every time!

I SEE WOOD...

AND I LIKE IT!!!
